A call was given to the members of the ACJM in Goa to make a private pilgrimage on 4th December 2021 to Batim, which is a village situated in North Goa. It was on a hill in Batime that the visionary Iveta Gomes first saw an apparition of Our Lady of Fátima on 24 September 1994. The Crusaders in particular were urged to do the First Saturday Devotion while making the pilgrimage to the place. Right from early morning, they were seen pouring in at the apparition site with their families at various times during the day and spending quiet time praying the rosary and other prayers and finally consecrating themselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Before leaving the place, each family collected holy water from the well at the apparition site.

Meeting of the ACJM Leadership at Pallotti Home

As part of the Jubilee celebration of the ACJM, the leadership met together at Pallotti Home, Chicalim-Vasco, on 2nd January 2022 to thank the Lord for not only sustaining the Association for the past 25 years but also for enabling it to grow in terms of members in Goa, India and abroad and also in terms of the various ministries such as Intercession, Music, Youth, Married People, Widows, Publications and the Audio-Visual ministry that have been established.

Pallotti Home is the place where it all began 25 years ago with a small group of those who after having a personal encounter with Jesus would gather faithfully at the grotto of Our Lady to pray. No one ever dreamt at that time that this small plant would grow into a huge tree bearing many fruits for the Lord who has been nurturing it with the water of His Spirit over the years.

The program on 2nd January 2022 began with the leadership sharing their memories of the early years at Pallotti Home.

Later, they got together in the chapel for the celebration of the Holy Eucharistic, which was followed by the adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

At the end of the adoration session, the members consecrated themselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The program ended with an agape meal.
