CONCLAVE FOR THE CORE LEADERSHIP OF THE ALL GOA CRUSADERS BOYS
This year has seen a considerable influx of youth in the ACJM, particularly the boys. The core leadership of the all-Goa Crusaders boys got together for a 3 days conclave in South Goa from 2nd to 4th December 2022. The conclave was packed with lively praise and worship, going deeper into the Word of God, celebration of the Holy Mass, counseling and group discussions. The conclave was indeed very anointed; and having been fired by Spirit, the boys are all set to do greater things for Christ. Their motto: "Jesus FIRST. Let's spread the fire..."
OUTREACH BY THE WIDOWS MINISTRY
The Widows ministry of ACJM from all the 3 zones, Vasco, Panjim and Margao paid a visit to St John of God Old Age Home in Old Goa on 6th December 2022. The members had a round of tea and snacks with the inmates and interacted with them for a long time. A fitting Word of God was shared which truly uplifted their spirits. Games were also organised and everyone participated with great joy. The program ended with the singing of Christmas carols. At the end of the program, it was evident that the members of the ministry were greatly strengthened and filled with joy after having reached out to the inmates. In the words of Jesus, "There is more happiness in giving than in receiving." Acts 20:35.
1-DAY PROGRAMME FOR 'YOUNG MARRIED COUPLES'
Married couples and single spouses who have completed upto 15 years of marriage met together at Pallotti Home in Vasco on 11th December 2022 in order to build their marriages on the principles of the Bible. The Spirit-filled sessions moved the participants to PUT CHRIST FIRST IN MARRIAGE. The couples renewed their marriage promises and amidst prayer and humor, came together to sincerely open up to their spouses about the personal problems each faced in married life and in the end to honor and hug their spouses. Follow-up sessions are planned in the weeks ahead for the others who were not there, and also for the Senior married (above 15 years) Crusaders.
OUTREACH BY THE CRUSADERS INTERCESSION MINISTRY
The Intercession Ministry of the ACJM visited an Old Age Home in South Goa on 14th December 2022. The members had a wonderful time interacting with the inmates. After being served snacks, the inmates were asked to join in the games that were organised - during which they were seen thoroughly enjoying themselves. Next, there was a round of lively praise and worship conducted by the members. This was followed by sharing of the Word of God. Truly it was a memorable evening for the Intercession ministry.
CRUSADERS MUSIC MINISTRY IN CHRISTMAS MODE
On 16th December 2022, the Music Ministry members from all three zones: Vasco , Panjim and Margao met at Caranzalem, Panjim zone office in order to praise and thank God and share the Word of God. In addition, the members shared their testimonies of how God acted in their lives in the last year. A meaningful skit was also put up based on the Word that was shared.
Next, lively carols were sung and everyone got into the mood of dancing to the tune. The gathering ended with an agape meal.
