Annual Fellowship Day of the Crusaders
Every year in December, Crusaders from all over Goa gather together on the beach side for a whole day to unwind and relax. Like any other family picnic, there is music, singing, dancing, games, swimming, eating, laughter, etc. But the only difference here is it is a gathering of a spiritual family for enjoying true Christian fellowship - that is how the event gets its name 'The Annual Fellowship Day of the Crusaders'. Besides the fun and frolic, there is praising and thanking God for the marvelous ways in which He has worked throughout the year. Br. Edmund Antao, the Spiritual Superintendent Guide of the ACJM, also addresses the gathering with the Word of God incorporated in his message for the year. This year, the Annual Fellowship Day was held on the Velsao beach in South Goa on Sunday, 10th December 2023.
Deanery-level Catechetical Meeting of the Sanguem Deanery
The Crusaders were invited to conduct the opening session consisting of talks and audio-visual presentations at the deanery-level catechetical meeting of the Sanguem Deanery. Catechists, including nuns and priests from several Parishes of the Sanguem deanery, were seen in attendance at the meeting. The main emphasis during the session was on becoming a Spirit-led Catechist by knowing Christ and living for Him alone.
Recollection for the Leading Members of Selected Ministries of the ACJM
A recollection was held for the leading members of selected ministries of the ACJM on 18th and 19th December in South Goa. The recollection is part of the formation process of the ACJM where members actively involved in various ministries are guided in evaluating their personal lives based on the Word of God. This in turn helps them to discern God's purpose for their lives, especially in the ministry that they are serving.
