Zonal Meetings of the Crusaders
Ever since the ACJM launched its first online conference over the Zoom App in 2020, the Crusaders have been meeting online every Saturday at 6 pm (India time) for prayer, praise and worship, and listening to the Word of God. Repeat sessions are held on Sundays at 11 am (India time). Also, the Crusaders join in for an online adoration session on the 1st of every month at 6:30 pm (India time). While such online conferences have proved to be very convenient means of providing regular spiritual nourishment for members in Goa, India, and overseas, there is a limitation on the fellowship part. Members cannot interact much over Zoom in the way they would interact with each other at the offline meetings that used to be held regularly before the Covid-19 pandemic. To compensate for this, the Crusaders in Goa gather for prayer meetings in their respective zones once in three months besides attending the regular online conferences.
This year began with zonal meetings being held in South Goa, North Goa, and the Vasco zone. In South Goa, the zonal meeting was held at the Lar on 4th January 2024 at the St. Therese Retreat Hall in Pajifond, Margao.
The Crusaders from North Goa had their zonal meeting on 7th January 2024 at Lar de Estudantes in Altinho-Panjim.
In Vasco, the Crusaders met together at Pallotti Home, Chicalim on 9th January 2024.
Crusaders Annual Pilgrimage to Sancoale
Every year, the Crusaders from all three zones, Vasco, North Goa, and South Goa, participate in the Novena Mass at Sancoale to seek the intercession of St Joseph Vaz, the Patron saint of the ACJM, and to invoke his prayers and blessings upon the ACJM and the family members of every Crusader. This time, the Novena Mass was attended by the Crusaders on 15th January 2024 at 6 pm at the Rua Escravo de Maria, Frontispiece of the Church of Sancoale.
Joint Core Conclave of the Leadership of the ACJM
The leadership of the ACJM consisting of members from Vasco, North Goa and South Goa had their joint core conclave at Pallotti Home in Vasco from 25th to 28th January 2024. Besides undergoing the regular spiritual formation under the direction of Br. Edmund Antao, the founder and Spiritual Superintendent Guide of the ACJM, the members also planned the roadmap for the ACJM for the year 2024.
