Glimpses of Events Organised by the Crusaders – June 2024

GLIMPSES OF EVENTS ORGANISED BY THE CRUSADERS

MONTH OF MAY 2024

Widows Outing

The leading members of the Widows Ministry had their day out on 28th May 2023. They began the day by spending time with the inmates of Mother Theresa's Home in Panjim. By the time they left the Home, all of them were in high spirits. Needless to say, they had experienced the Christian joy that comes from giving.  From there they proceeded to the Campal garden where they prayed and shared the Word of God. The rest of the day was spent in the joyful fellowship of one another. They shared the cooked food that was prepared by each one. Indeed it was a memorable day closely resembling what the early Christians did when they would meet together.

MONTH OF JUNE 2024

Conclave for Staff Members of the ACJM

A conclave was organised for the staff members of the Offices of the ACJM in North Goa on the 6th, 7th, and 8th June 2024.  The staff members spent their time listening to the Word of God, praying, evaluating individual responsibilities, planning, and enjoying the presence of one another.  Such conclaves not only cater to the spiritual formation of the staff members but also facilitate the development of a strong Christian bond between them.

Conclave for members of the Elders Forum of the ACJM

The members of the Elders Forum gathered for a conclave in North Goa on the 8th and 9th of June 2024 to discern the direction in which God wants the ACJM to go forward.

Retreat for Confirmation Students

A 2-days retreat was organised by the Crusaders Youth Ministry for confirmation students of St. Inez parish on 10th and 11th June at St. Inez Church in Panjim.

Intercession Seminar

A one-day Seminar was organised by the Intercession Ministry of the ACJM on Sunday, 16th June 2024 at the Pilar Fathers Auditorium at Pilar. The seminar titled "Teach us to pray" consisted of group discussions, talks by resource persons, practical lessons to improve one's prayer life, and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament besides adopting a follow-up action plan that would bring scores of new persons to be prayer warriors and interceders. The zeal of the early Christians was visible on every face by the end of the day-long program which included the Holy Mass.
