2-Days Retreat for the Girls Cell of the ACJM
The Crusaders organised a 2-days retreat for the girls on 28th and 29th October 2023 at St. Therese Retreat House in Pajifond-Margao. Such initiation-level Youth Retreats serve as the starting point of the spiritual formation program specially designed to cater to the spiritual needs of the youth. The formation program not only enables them to become better human beings in this challenging world but also to serve as spiritual leaders who are deeply rooted in Christ. Many of the men and women today in the highest leadership of the ACJM have emerged from the Boys and Girls cells respectively as a result of the formation program.
Recollection for the Office Staff of the ACJM
The office staff of the ACJM had their Annual Recollection from 30th October 2023 till 2nd November 2023 in North Goa. Such recollections help the staff members evaluate their personal lives as well as their work in the various offices of the ACJM - all this in the light of God's Word. Besides spending moments in prayer, listening to the Word of God, and taking part in daily Mass, the members also have fun moments. By the time they resume office work, they are not only relaxed but also strengthened spiritually.
MONTH OF NOVEMBER 2023
Night Vigil at Pilar
The Crusaders were invited by the Pilar Society of Priests to conduct a Night Vigil at Pilar on 17th November 2023. The vigil consisted of lively praise and worship, Word of God, skits, testimonies, adoration and it culminated in the celebration of the Holy Mass.
Day-long Program for the members of the Young Married Hearts (YMH) Ministry
The Young Married Hearts (YMH) is a ministry of the ACJM consisting of married couples who have been married for 15 years or less. The members meet regularly to learn how to tackle various challenges in their married life based on sound biblical principles. Besides the usual praise and worship, these meetings consist of in-depth breaking of the Word of God based on various marriage-related topics. Also, special programs are organised from time to time to provide the members with opportunities to share, discuss and seek counseling on marriage-related issues. A day-long program was organised by the Crusaders for the members on 19th November 2023 at Pallotti Home, Chicalim-Vasco.
Recollection for the Leadership of the ACJM
The leadership of the ACJM consisting of members from Vasco, North Goa and South Goa had their recollection in a Retreat Home in South Goa from 24th to 26th November 2023. The recollection, mainly based on the life of Moses, enabled the leaders to evaluate their personal lives as well as their functioning as leaders of the ACJM throughout the year 2023.
