The Lenten season in Goa this year witnessed a series of Spirit-filled missions in various parishes of the Archdiocese of Goa, conducted by the Crusaders. These “lenten evening missions” were characterized by profound talks on true repentance, leading to a significant renewal of faith among many people. Some of the Churches in which these missions were conducted included St Sebastian Parish, Canaguinim, Mae de Deus Parish Saligao and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Chapel, Mungul. The lenten missions this year underscored the ongoing efforts being made to awaken the people of God to the call to greater holiness and living lives centered on the values of the Gospel.
