O TASTE AND SEE HOW GOOD OUR LORD IS… !
We are moved to tears by the overwhelming power of God poured out on all those who attended the Higher Growth Retreat from 18th March to 22 March 2026 at Pallotti Home. Each of the retreatants witnessed :
– The sudden rush of the Holy Spirit falling on everyone in the hall during a session one day,
– Many re-discovering their First Love for Jesus, which had been set aside due to worldly distractions,
– Many feeling as if their hearts were burning inside while the Scriptures were being proclaimed, like the 2 disciples felt while on the way to Emmaus,
– Many amazed at the history of the Bible and its 43 Old Testament books covering the period from Early Creation to the Patriarchs, to the Exodus and the conquest of the Promised Land & Judges to establishing the Royal Kingdom to the split of the Kingdom to the Exile and the Return and to the Greek Maccabean period till the coming of the Messiah…..and relating it to their own journey with the Lord and how we forget Him on the way of our life and yet He restored us,
– Many eyes opened to the detailed history of the Church till 2026….. from the day of Pentecost to the martyrs to the catacombs and missionary zeal, to the Imperial Age and later the Middle Age, the splitting of parts of it, the raising of needed persons by God for each age, the Church under bad influence, under scientific age, revolutions, wars, Communism etc, the universal church and the rising role of the Lay People, the scandals and the Church teachings & Popes leading up to the present day Church in 2026 and yet the promise of our faithful Jesus : “The powers of Hell will not prevail over My Church” …..and how all this relates to their own personal spiritual life.
– The deep truths about the Persons in the Trinity and our God and His search for His People, His own intimate persons who would prefer Him first rather than the things of creation and making the gifts He gave them into their idols. Also, how Satan first came into being and how he works to make persons slowly lukewarm in their faith and draw them to Hell,
– How we worship in Spirit as God wants us, and…..how we live and discern what God is calling us to do at every stage in our lives,
– How we pray to God and how we discern and recognize when He is speaking to us and how His voice sounds in prayer and through Scripture, events and others, etc.
– How we enjoyed during the course of the retreat, the beauty of Personal Prayer and Group Prayer and being part of a huge intercession network along with our Mother Mary;
– How we experienced Jesus in a very personal way through the Eucharist and times of holy Adoration … often in the gift of tears and other expressions we felt.
– How we understood the dangers of isolating ourselves away from the spiritual community and from Christian fellowship, and how that drains all the earlier spiritual progress we made,
– and how in detachment we find true love, true joy and find love all around us, and we find God Himself and intimacy with Jesus!
Everything that happened from the 18th March night till the end of the retreat on 22nd March evening was a real…moving wonder even for those conducting the retreat… Another big wonder of God was that so many, including old, young, and children, who packed Pallotti Home could be accommodated despite the limited space of the retreat house. Our God is truly an awesome God.

A ‘New Pentecost’ experience which saw many walking away with a profound sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and a rediscovery of God’s purpose, after being deeply moved by the sessions.
