This unique ‘Come and See Rendezvous Experience’ on the subject of ‘Knowing the Heart of St Jeanne Jugan’, foundress of the Little Sisters of the Poor, was held at the Gomant Vidya Niketan AC Auditorium in Margao-Goa. The event was made all the more special with the gracious presence of the successor of the St. Jeanne Jugan and Mother General of the Little Sisters of the Poor, Sr Maria del Monte Auxiliadora psdp, coming all the way from their headquarters in La Tour, France. This was her first visit to Goa-India. Speaking to a packed audience, the Spiritual Guide and Founder- Coordinator General of the Crusaders, emphasized on the pressing need for humility in all the good works we do for God, noting that this alone attracts the favour of heaven.The Mother General and other sisters in attendance including the Mother Provincial of India of the Little Sisters of the Poor, were warmly felicitated for their indispensable role in bringing dignity and meaning to the elderly who are abandoned and whose care they have undertaken, sheerly on the strength of Divine Providence. The Little Sisters of the Poor are now spread in over 32 countries.
