19th July 2026: ‘Put God First’ – on this note the youth leadership of the Crusaders held a Jesus Encounter Weekend for youth from among those who have completed their Std 10th and upto 25 years. With the aid of Biblical teachings, the time was well spent with practical sessions held on various topics aligned for the youth of today, to empower them and imbibe in them the love for Jesus. Particular stress was laid on the need for a foundational and regular sacramental life, apart from the daily meditation on the Word of God in our personal lives. By doing this, one puts Jesus first. Thus one is empowered in the Christian spirit to tackle life and to experience the promise of the Lord in Matthew 6:33 – “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”
