The Widows Ministry of ACJM, aptly re-christened as the ‘Brides Now for Christ’, conducted a follow-up session on 4th July 2026 for the large crowd of widows who attended the one-day seminar held on 2nd May 2026. It was a day blessed with prayer, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. The programme began with the Holy Rosary, followed by Praise and Worship. Br. Edmund Antao then encouraged the participants to grow as ‘spiritual’ widows by strengthening their relationship with Jesus and seeking Christ-centred friendships, highlighting the image of the three-stranded cord (Ecclesiastes 4:12), and  emphasizing the importance of spiritual fellowship and remaining united in faith. A stark contrast was drawn in the contentment experienced by widows who choose to dedicate themselves to Christ, their Eternal Bridegroom, versus those widows who choose to loose themselves in frivolous pursuits. The participants also took part in the Act of Consecration to the Blessed Mother, Eucharistic Adoration, Holy Mass, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. The highlight of the evening was a training session received on the ease with which technology can now be harnessed to enable participation in regular online meetings. On these lines, a Zoom Training session was given to the particpants. The session concluded with prayer and tea, inspiring everyone to remain rooted in God’s Word, prayer, and Christian fellowship.
